Networking on the Central Coast still happens in rooms, not just online. The chambers in Monterey, Salinas, Carmel, Pacific Grove, Santa Cruz, Capitola-Soquel, Aptos and Watsonville each run a monthly mixer, most towns have a BNI chapter or two, and groups like the Monterey County Business Council, the Hospitality Association and the young professionals' networks fill in the rest of the month with breakfasts, after-hours events and referral meetings.
