Privacy policy

What we collect. If you create an account, we store your name, email address and sign-in provider, plus the preferences, saved events, followed organizations, calendar feeds and date watches you create. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and the regions and categories you choose. If you submit an event or a removal request, we store what you send and the IP address it came from, to prevent abuse.

What we don't do. We do not sell personal information. Your preferences and saved events are never public. Calendar feed URLs contain a private token; anyone with the URL can read that feed, so treat it like a password and revoke it from your account page if it leaks.

Email. We send email through SendGrid. Every non-essential message has a one-click unsubscribe link. Bounces and complaints are recorded so we stop sending to that address.

Analytics. We count page views and outbound clicks in aggregate, by day, per listing. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on event pages.

Cookies. Sign-in uses cookies from our authentication provider. A small local-storage entry remembers your preferred calendar app.

Deleting your data. Delete your account from your account page; that revokes your feeds and removes your saved events and preferences. For anything else, use the contact page.
