Experience the magic of Christmas in the Adobes, Monterey’s premier holiday celebration. Co-hosted by Monterey State Historic Park Association (MSHPA), this early-evening walking tour transforms more than twenty historic locations with glowing luminarias, festive décor, live music, and holiday cheer.

Stroll through Monterey’s earliest buildings, enjoy seasonal entertainment, and discover the stories behind these cherished landmarks. Many community partner locations open their doors to the public only during this event, making it a truly special experience for all ages.

Your participation helps preserve history: proceeds support educational history programs for local elementary students and overall support for education, research, interpretation and historic preservation to benefit the Monterey State Historic Park (MSHP).

Join us for this cherished holiday tradition that brings history to life and creates memories to share year after year.
